Mars Simulator 2011 is another production by the German studio Stonehill Games representing the simulator genre. This time, the creators give us the opportunity to control a space rover.

The action of the game takes place on the titular Mars. We control a machine sent by humans to explore the Red Planet. Our task is to provide useful information by collecting rock samples, making small drillings, taking photos, etc. The robot is equipped with all kinds of devices necessary to perform these activities - so we will use drills, cameras, tongs and other similar tools. During the game, you should pay close attention to changing weather conditions and the energy supply, which is replenished by solar panels.

The game does not impress with its graphics, the textures are not of the highest quality, and the environment does not impress with the amount of detail and design. Due to the location of the action, for most of the game we only see sand and rocks, and all of it is kept in the rusty-red color characteristic of Mars.

The production has a built-in encyclopedia of this planet, thanks to which we learn its history, characteristics and various interesting facts.
