BRAWL is a dynamic action game with logic elements, designed with multiplayer competition in mind. The production was originally released in February 2014 on PlayStation 4 consoles, and eventually also reached the hands of PC/Mac users. It was created by the Polish development studio Bloober Team, known for games such as A-Men, Music Master: Chopin or the Sony-remastered version of the classic Alien Breed.

In the game, we find ourselves in a dark, underground labyrinth of basements and corridors, called the Emporium, and our task is to eliminate other players taking part in the game as quickly as possible. We have eight diverse characters at our disposal, each of whom has their own story and motivations for fighting. Each of them also has a completely different fighting style and its strengths and weaknesses, which prove themselves in different ways in confrontation with the opponent's skills. During the game, we can take on the role of, for example, a Wrestler who uses mainly strength, or a Thief who prefers to act quietly.

The game is an attempt to refresh the classic formula, known from such hits as Bomberman or Spy vs. Spy. The game therefore comes down to cleverly setting traps for opponents. Some of them will explode automatically, some are triggered by rivals unaware of the threat. There will also be various types of power-ups, thanks to which we will increase the striking power of our arsenal. The whole thing takes place at an extremely fast pace and is based largely on the skills of the players, and the key to victory here is above all exceptional dexterity, ingenuity and cunning. BRAWL offers a campaign mode intended for a single player, but it only develops its wings in multiplayer. The creators have provided the possibility of competing in a local network or over the Internet for up to 4 players. The game can be played on over 20 interactive maps, in one of several game modes, such as Classic, Sumo, or Color Domination mode. It is also possible to play in cooperation, where by joining forces with another player we test our skills in one of two challenge modes: Sheep and Horde.

In terms of visuals, the PC version of BRAWL does not differ from its PlayStation original, offering 2.5D graphics and a dynamic camera system. During the game, we can earn a total of over 150 achievements, each of which will top up our account with special BRAWL points, used for example to unlock model galleries and concept arts.
